In light of my upcoming travels and dislike of repeating myself, I have created a blog to keep people updated on my life in Sweden and possibly beyond. However, please don't take this as a substitute for keeping in touch with me. It's merely meant as a way to process and share a little of what is going on in my life. I'll do my best to have as many interesting experiences as possible, and if all the excitement-filled pre-arrival drama is any indication, I will probably encounter a good amount!
Things are slowly coming together for departure. This trip has been a very long ordeal that began with lofty plans in Jessica and my senior year in high school and is finally coming to fruition in our senior year of college. After a couple country changes, withdrawals (and withdrawing withdrawals), frantic phone calls and lots of prayer, it looks like we are both going to Lund, Sweden for the fall!
We will be living in a nice two bedroom apartment near the campus (just wired the money and signed the contract today) which will give us a different experience than living on campus with international and Swedish students. I pray that I will still be able to have community and not be isolated from the other students due to my living situation. Also finding a good Christian fellowship is major priority, and I would appreciate prayers regarding that.
Ok, so this is a lot longer and more rambling that I had originally anticpated (already on my way to becoming an annoying blogger apparently!).
